Claire Antoine is a French lyric soprano. From 2021 to 2023, she was a full-time member of the Opera Studio of Dutch National Opera, where she performed roles such as the First Handmaid in Der Zwerg by Zemlinsky, Dido in Dido and Aeneas under the direction of Andreas Küppers, and covered the role of Micaëla in Carmen.

Recognized as a rising talent, she was named Talent Adami Classique 2021, one of France’s most prestigious distinctions for young musicians. In 2023–2024, she was selected as one of the 15 artists promoted by the Génération Opéra Association.

In 2023, Claire made her debut at La Monnaie in Brussels as Lady Clarence and cover for Catherine d’Aragon in Saint-Saëns’s Henry VIII. She soon after sang Madame Lidoine in Dialogues des Carmélites at the Opéra Royal de Liège. Her recent engagements include Ida in Die Fledermaus in Lille, as well as two roles in Rameau’s Castor et Pollux at the Opéra National de Paris, a production she later reprised at the Salzburg Festival.

She went on to take the title role of Iolanta by Tchaikovsky at the Opéra National de Bordeaux, a role debut, before returning to Madame Lidoine in Dialogues des Carmélites at the Opéra de Nancy. Most recently, she made her role debut as Liù in Puccini’s Turandot at Opéra Grand Avignon.
